Republicans Fight to Protect Second Amendment

Left radicals are clamoring for draconian gun control regulations in the aftermath of the tragic Uvalde elementary school tragedy. The Second Amendment is a constitutional right that allows individuals to protect themselves.

That is why Republicans are fighting to protect the country’s gun rights.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said preserving the Second Amendment has never been more important than it is today during a speech at a National Rifle Association meeting.

In an era when elites support police defunding, homelessness is common, gangs control entire towns, and radical district attorneys refuse to pursue violent crime in cities throughout America, the Second Amendment has never been more important to protect our fellow citizens’ rights.

Meanwhile, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R) chastised the awakened mob for portraying gun owners as monsters.

“When a deranged, mentally ill killer who fits the left’s political narrative murders children and people, the media seizes the opportunity to paint millions of law-abiding gun owners, including you and me, as barbarians.”

Noem chastised House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for using a terrible tragedy to advance their extremist leftist agenda. She also chastised them for attempting to take away Americans’ gun rights, claiming that it would have made no difference in preventing the shooter.

The tragic massacre is being used by Democrats to argue for stronger gun legislation that matches their agenda, while leftist media sources are smearing Republicans for supporting the Second Amendment.
