Anti-Gun Activist Rages After Guy Takes Down Shooter in Indiana

Never underestimate the anti-gun left’s capacity to contort themselves in defense of their absurd goal, and sure enough, that’s what’s occurring now that a nice person with a gun has taken down a mass shooter in Indiana.

Three individuals were killed when a gunman entered a mall in Greenwood Park, Indiana, and started shooting. However, a nice samaritan, as recounted by the police, used a hidden weapon to shoot the gunman before he could continue his rampage. Although most people rejoiced, that outcome was highly uncomfortable for those who had been citing a story from Uvalde, Texas, just hours earlier, to claim that not even 400 trained police officers could stop a gunman with an AR-15.

Shannon Watts of the anti-gun organization Moms Demand Action was one of many arguing that point. She used social media to rehash the 400 line and implied that it was absurd to suppose that an AR-15-wielding gunman could be stopped by an armed citizen.

She wants to have her cake and eat it, too, but sadly, that’s not how any of this works.

The presence of law enforcement does not equate to having good folks with a gun if they eventually stand by and do nothing, as those who favor the Second Amendment have been pointing out. Neither firepower nor skill were lacking in Uvalde.

The desire to kill the shooter was lacking. It is absurd to concentrate on the quantity of weapons used by law enforcement while imagining the shooter in the classroom to be an unstoppable force.

Because you don’t have the luxury of waiting around for orders when there is an active shooter scenario, the tragedy may have been halted or at least restricted by an armed SRO or teacher.
