President Joe Biden has never been a favorite of the extreme left. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and other Progressives have been vocal in their opposition to him. Despite the fact that he received more votes than any other candidate in the country’s history in the 2020 election, many people do not want him to run for office again. One Democratic group has made its position quite plain.
RootsAction Co-Founder Jeff Cohen spoke with Fox News Digital about the organization’s attempt to dissuade Biden from running in 2024. According to the far-left liberal, the president is not the “strongest candidate” to beat Republicans in 2024. He went on to claim that the organization was running columns, television advertisements, and petitions and even had a mobile billboard roaming the streets of DC.
A big billboard on a truck reads, “Most Democrats Say Don’t Run Joe.” The gang positions it in front of DC landmarks such as the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and even the White House.

A large billboard urging President Biden not to run for re-election has begun appearing in front of the White House and the Capitol this week, as the Don’t Run Joe campaign boosts its presence in the nation’s capital. #DontRunJoe pic.twitter.com/DQJnWhZMMF
Last year, the group announced its campaign to keep Biden off the ballot. Renominating the 46th president would be a “tragic mistake,” according to the group.

It’s clear that Joe Biden should not be the party’s presidential nominee in 2024. With so much at stake, renominating Biden would be a tragic mistake.

According to Newsweek, the president is facing a big number of people who do not want him to seek reelection. A poll done for the journal by Redfield & Wilton Strategies indicated that 58% of eligible voters do not believe the present president should run again. More than 40% of them said his age was one of the reasons he should resign. Biden will be 81 when the next election comes around, making him the oldest President ever. Other concerns include the current state of the economy, midterm election outcomes, and a preference for other candidates.
Biden has stated his intention to run for reelection but has not made an official announcement.
