The station reported that deputies responding to reports of an attack found a 25-year-old man dead of a gunshot wound in his chest in the front yard of a home. Newsweek stated that the incident occurred just before 5 p.m. on Thursday.
According to WSB, the homeowner claimed that the naked suspect had pushed his wife off her riding lawnmower.
The homeowner said he tried to pull the man off his wife, but the suspect attacked him — and then started attacking his wife again, the station stated.

According to the station, the wife was taken by ambulance to a hospital. She was then stabilized and treated for her injuries. According to Newsweek, the husband, who is 66 years old, sustained minor injuries and was treated on the spot, WSB reported.
