On Thursday, one of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s closest associates warned the US that Russia has the power to put all of our brazen adversaries in their place.
Dmitry Medvedev, Russia’s Deputy Security Council Chairman, also claimed that the US had fueled ugly Russophobia in an attempt to bring Russia to its knees and ultimately tear it apart.
“It will not work,” Medvedev stated. “Russia has the might to put all of our brash enemies in their place.”
The news comes a day after Putin issued a stark warning to the West and oligarchs, saying that filth traitors will be spit out like a midge in their mouths by Russians.
He also warned that the West would divide our nation by using those who earn money here but reside elsewhere as a fifth column.
“I don’t judge individuals who have villas in Miami or the French Riviera, or who can’t live without oysters or foie gras or so-called ‘gender freedoms.’ The problem is that they mentally exist there, and not here, with our people, with Russia,” Putin said in a televised address.
On Wednesday, US President Joe Biden called Putin a war criminal and described him as a pure thug who is waging an unethical war against the people of Ukraine.
He also pledged an extra $800 million in military aid to Ukraine after the country’s president appealed with Congress to do more. So far, Biden has approved $2 billion in aid to Ukraine.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine reached its fourth week on Thursday, as US, EU, and allied sanctions continue to wreak havoc on Russia’s economy.
