President Joe Biden stated when he took the oath of office at the beginning of this year that he would lead America back to a position of power and prosperity. Since then, poll numbers have been plunging, indicating that most Americans do not feel he has maintained his promise.

Now, a group of Republican politicians claims to have figured out why.

Several high-profile Republicans, according to Fox News, suggested this week that the Biden administration’s problems are due to a leadership failure.

Second-term Iowa Republican Sen. Joni Ernst, who served overseas for more than two decades in the military, is one of many making the argument.

Second-term Iowa Republican Sen. Joni Ernst, who served overseas for more than two decades in the military, is one of many making the argument.

“From his disaster in Afghanistan, to the out-of-control situation at our southern border, and now his failure to prepare for the omicron variant his own administration warned about, time and again Joe Biden has utterly failed to meet the challenge and has demonstrated to the American people his inability to lead this country through crises, including those of his own making,” Ernst stated.

According to Fox, McCaul stated: “President Biden’s own generals and the intelligence community warned him that the withdrawal from Afghanistan would result in the county rapidly falling to the Taliban. For a president who claims ‘the buck stops’ with him, he is very slow to actually take responsibility for his mistakes.”

As everyone may know, Biden isn’t the only one who avoids accountability, especially when it comes to the global pandemic.  Vice President Kamala Harris, according to Fox, told the Los Angeles Times last week that they – and most of all the scientists- did not see the Delta variant coming, rendering them unprepared.
