According to authorities, a KFC employee assisted a lady who was being kept prisoner by her lover after she delivered him a hidden message.

After she requested for his assistance in fleeing her claimed abductor, the nameless fast-food employee in Tennessee phoned detectives on Sunday.

After attempting to run from the Memphis KFC, police detained Diego Glay, 23, for abduction and escaping arrest. The worker gave officers a description of the couple, which helped them find them.

He also handed over the paper requesting assistance. Glay had physically abused and threatened the victim, she told Memphis Police Department investigators.

Glay was also allegedly armed with a firearm, according to court filings.

She also alleges that Glay began attacking her when she attempted to end their relationship.

Glay is claimed to have informed officials that the couple had been travelling from hotel to motel in the region.

Officers responded to KFC at 6262 Winchester Road on May 14, 2022, at 5:00 p.m., according to police. Officers were informed that a woman had penned a message pleading for assistance. The female who had written the message was still on the business lot with a male companion.

The guy fled on foot as cops approached the couple. He was captured after a brief foot chase and identified as Diego Glay. Officers learned that the victim traveled here from another state on a Greyhound bus to see her lover, Glay.

Glay kept her physically against her will using physical attacks, threats, and being armed with a revolver after they got into an altercation, and she tried to leave him and return home numerous times.

Glay is scheduled to appear in court on June 1st. A $35,000 bail has been set for him.
