Biden Delivers The Most Divisive And Hate-Filled Speech in the History

The good news is that President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. avoided any big mistakes during his speech on Thursday night’s prime time television. He did, of course, stumble a bit as his wife Jill delicately assisted him move to and from the stage, and he did, as is his pattern, garble a few words and at times appear disoriented as hecklers chanted “eff Joe Biden.” He called for togetherness in one sentence and condemned everyone who dared to disagree with his views in the next.

The bad news is that the address given by the leader of the free world looked to be intended to further polarize our country and inflame the more than 73 million Americans who supported his opponent in the most recent election. I anticipated that Joey would spend the most of the show trashing his critics, but even I was taken aback by how vile his comments were.

It was, to put it briefly, a national disgrace. He made a passing reference to our country’s past before getting directly to the point:

However, while I say this, “But as I stand here tonight, equality and democracy are under assault. We do ourselves no favor to pretend otherwise.”

“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic. But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.”

Democrat Stacey Abrams continues to deny losing Georgia’s gubernatorial election in 2018 much as Hillary Clinton famously contested her lost 2016 presidential election for years. Do they pose a danger to democracy? Joe Biden hasn’t spoken a word about them, at least to my knowledge.

By my count, Corn Pop’s adversary used the word democracy 31 times, each time hinting that we were going to lose it due to MAGA Republicans, white nationalists, and other made-up threats. I’ve never heard a speech that incited such horror.
