According to media accounts, when President Joe Biden and his family arrived in South Carolina for a vacation on Wednesday, Trump fans booed them.
Biden and his family are anticipated to spend at least seven days on Kiawah Island. Though the president will stay at a friend’s house on the island that the family has used for past trips, the location is noted for its private beach and golf club.
“We, The People Will Not Be Divided…America 1st!!!” As the Biden family passed by in their motorcade, a single individual wearing a Project Veritas t-shirt scrawled something on a placard.
“Sleepy Joe, a.k.a. ‘The Big Guy’ (10%) a.k.a. The Worst POTUS Ever!!!”
“Thanks 4 Record Inflation, Global Instability, Empowering Cartels, & So Many More Crises!!!,” the placard added.
Some neighborhood residents put placards on their front yards. Let’s Go Brandon and FU Joe were written on one, respectively.
The House is scheduled to vote on a plan that includes many of Biden’s goals while he is in South Carolina, including the largest-ever investment in the battle against climate change, totaling $369 billion over the next ten years.
The bill would also limit Medicare users’ out-of-pocket expenses for prescription drugs to $2,000 per year and prolong subsidies from the coronavirus epidemic to assist an estimated 13 million Americans pay for healthcare insurance.
When asked when Biden would sign the legislation, the White House dodged the question, stating its attention was on making sure the House passed the legislation.
